Bleaching verursacht keine Schäden am Zahn oder dem Zahnfleisch und ist medizinisch unbedenklich. Es ist jedoch wichtig, dass die Behandlung durch ein geschultes Fachpersonal vorgenommen wird. Nur dann kann sichergestellt werden, dass es keine Vorerkrankung der Zähne vorliegt und alle Prozessschritte korrekt und sauber durchgeführt werden.
Was passiert bei einer Bleaching-Behandlung?
Es wird ein besonders sanftes Gel auf die Zähne aufgetragen und mittels Plasma-Beleuchtung aktiviert. Dabei entstehen sogenannte Sauerstoff-Radikale, welche die Verfärbungen in den Zähnen auflösen. Das Ergebnis ist eine nachhaltige Zahnaufhellung von bis zu 4 Jahren!
Ist Bleaching schmerzhaft?
Die Bleaching Behandlung ist komplett schmerzfrei. Die Wärme der UV-Lampe wird teilweise sogar als angenehm bezeichnet. Nach der Behandlung kann es für ca. 12 bis 24 Stunden zu einem kaum wahrnehmbaren Kribbeln durch das Aufhellungsgel kommen.
